Here’s why a Toronto condo proposal just quadrupled in height

Developers have proposed a 43-storey tower at 3807 Lake Shore Boulevard West in Etobicoke, significantly increasing the height from the previously planned 11-storey mid-rise. The new plan, named Long Branch Tower, will feature 549 condominium units and 14 rental units, replacing existing buildings on the site. The design includes a small commercial space and aims to minimize traffic impact with 72 vehicle parking spots and over 430 bicycle spaces. Despite market concerns, experts are optimistic about the local real estate outlook.
