The City of Toronto has commenced construction on a mixed-use housing project near TTC’s Wilson Station, featuring 1,484 homes, including 520 affordable rentals. Developed by Tridel, Greenwin, and KingSett Capital, the project will also include a childcare center, community space, a public park, and retail areas. It aims to meet the Toronto Green Standard and utilize geothermal energy. Construction is set to begin this spring, with occupancy expected by early 2029. This initiative is part of the HousingTO 2020-2030 Action Plan to address housing challenges in the city.
