Five Canadian cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, are among the most expensive for international workers due to high housing costs. The most expensive cities globally are Hong Kong, Singapore, and Zurich, while Islamabad, Lagos, and Abuja are the least expensive. Mercer's report evaluated the costs of over 200 items in each city, using New York City as a comparison base.
